Samsung have today revealed that their latest flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be available to pre-order in the UK from March 25th, after which it will go up for general release on April 11th.

From those dates the Galaxy S5 will be available from a number of retails including Carphone Warehouse, EE, Phones 4u, Three, Virgin Media, Vodafone, Samsung’s own e-store and the Stratford Westfield Experience Store.

In case you didn’t know, the Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1 inch 1920 x 1080 Full HD AMOLED display, a 16 megapixel camera on the back, 2MP camera on the front, a heart rate sensor, fingerprint scanner, and 2.5GHz Quad core application processor.

There’s also a few new features included in the software, the most notable of which is the new Download Booster feature which allows for simultaneous downloads over both LTE and Wi-Fi.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on Android 4.4.2.
