A few days ago we seen a patent from Samsung that reported that Samsung might be looking to create their own wearable headset, but today we have seen another report that claims that Samsung might be working on a virtual reality headset like the Oculus Rift or Sony’s Project Morpheus.

This is according to sources speaking to EnGadget who are claiming to be developers at Samsung, who are stating the Samsung VR headset will undercut the current options on price, and will likely be aimed to worn at home to provide immersive gaming.

The developers also claim that the headset will have two OLED screens, which are apparently as good as or better than the second Oculus Rift dev kit, with a 960 x 1080 pixel resolution per eye, alongside a varying refresh rate and low persistence.

It’s not clear whether this VR project might have anything to do with the Samsung Blink patent that we seen a couple of days ago, however there is a possibility that this new report may be linked to it, maybe even an evolution of that idea?

Well that’s just an idea anyway, we probably won’t hear anything official about it anytime soon either, however when it does get revealed you know where to stop by.
