Samsung have today announced one of their largest smartphones yet, the Samsung Galaxy Mega which will be available in two versions, the 6.3 and the 5.8, launching in May within Europe and Russia.

Both will include Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but after that, they come with various differences between specifications. For instance the galaxy Mega 6.3 will come with a 1.7GHz dual-core processor where’s as the 5.8 will pack a 1.4GHz dual-core processor.

6.3 comes with a 3,200mAh battery, 5.8 has a 2,600, 6.3 has either 8 or 16GB of internal storage, with 4G LTE connectivity, 5.8 only has HSPA+ and the choice of 8GB of storage

However they will both include an 8 megapixel camera on the back, 11.9 on the front, they will both have 1.5GB of RAM and will allow for upgrading the storage up to 64GB with a microSD card.

They will also include Samsung’s TouchWiz interface.

The Samsung Mega 6.3 will be coming to the UK in mid-May, however Samsung have announced that the Mega 5.8 will not be making its way to the UK.
