Just a week after hitting the new landmark, Samsung has announced on their Polish Twitter that the Galaxy S III has reached 30 million sales worldwide, a number which was 20 million just two months ago.

Those of you that can do basic maths may have worked out this means they have sold 10 million devices in two months, not a number to be sniffed at.

Just yesterday the company also announced that the S3 has outsold the iPhone 5 and remained the UKs most popular smartphone for six consecutive months, as well as the announcement that the Galaxy Note 2 has already shipped over 2 million units worldwide in just a few weeks.

Let me know in the comments below how long you think the S3 can keep the top spot.
