Samsung are moving closer towards the development of new curved screens and this has today been enhanced with the announcement of a new monitor, dubbed the Samsung SE790C the new monitor has been designed to provide a new and immersive experience according to Samsung.

The monitor also features a 34 inch display that features an ULTRA-WQHD resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels alongside an improved contrast ratio.

It also features a 21:9 aspect ratio.

Seoggi Kim, Senior Vice President, Visual Display Business, Samsung Electronics explains the new monitor with the following statement :

“All curves are not created equal. Samsung’s SE790C offers an industry-leading and award-winning curvature for a truly immersive, comfortable and differentiating viewing experience,”

“Combined with superior picture quality, productivity and entertainment-enhancing technology features, and design sophistication, our latest curved monitor delivers on our brand promise to push the limits of what display solutions and innovative technology can deliver.”

As of yet Samsung has not revealed any information on the pricing or the availability for the new monitor, however when we do hear more we will let you know, we expect that Samsung may reveal more information at CES 2015 next month.
