The Samsung Galaxy S5 is more or less guaranteed to be announced at some point soon, with rumours suggesting that the handset will feature a metal case design instead of the previous plastic based design, and now today we are hearing a bit more about the handset, as a device with the model number SM-G900S has now appeared on the benchmarking site, GTXBench who claim that the device will feature a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and a MSM8974 chipset (including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and Adreno 330 GPU).

However there was no other specifications were reported on the site, past rumours do however suggest that the device will feature 4GB of RAM, a 16MP ISOCELL camera, a 640bit processor or an Exynos 6 chipset.

As of yet however, all of this should be taken as a rumour, and these specifications might not even link the S5, especially when the number is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Round, which has the model number G910S, which could mean a Galaxy S5 with a curved display, or a new Galaxy Round.

We should hear more official stuff soon however.
