If you have been waiting for more devices to get the new Android 4.4 KitKat update, you might be happy to know that it has today been revealed that Samsung is currently testing the new OS with the Samsung Galalxy Note 3.

Announced by @sammobile, the new update will take over from the pre-installed Android 4.3 and will be supplied out of the box, available for download to those who already have the device according to the Twitter account.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, with a 5.7 inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that packs a 1920 x 1080pixel resolution.

There’s also 3GB of RAM installed with the choice of either 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage and both a 2 megapixel front-facing camera and a 13 megapixel camera on the back.

Currently there’s no official news on the update, with no specific date as to when it will be released.
