Ahead of Mobile World Congress, Samsung have decided to unveil the Galaxy XCover 2. Aimed for those customers who like the outdoors and often travel in rugged conditions, the XCover 2 has been designed to be water-resistant up to 30 minutes and can even take photos underwater.

The phone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and will feature a 4 inch WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, VGA front-facing camera, 1GHz dual-core processor, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 1,700mAh battery, Samsung’s Motion UI will also be included.

There’s no word on pricing or availability as of yet, but we should hear more as soon as MWC kicks off.
