Samsung have today announced the launch of their new smart camera, the NX2000 which features a 3.7 inch WVGA touch screen and a 20.3 megapixel sensor.

Controlled via the touchscreen, the camera offers a new Smart Mode, and various other scene modes.

Alongside which, the NX2000 also features NFC connectivity, and a couple of  new modes, the first is Best Face, which takes 5 consecutive photos and then allows the user to choose the best one, and there’s Action Freeze, which is good for shooting fast-moving subjects.

The camera can also link with Samsung’s Smart Camera app, available on both iOS and Andrroid, it allows photos to be shared directly to your smartphone.

The Samsung NX2000 is available now in the US for $649.99, in either white, black or pink.
