It’s been a very long time coming, but finally Samsung’s latest addition to the Galaxy Note lineup has been unveiled. The Note has always been one to have a larger screen than most phones and the II edition of the phone is no different, with a 5.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display, with 1280 x 720 resolution, quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz, all ina 8.4mm thick Galaxy S III like design.

The Note II also features a 3,1000mAh battery, 8 megapixel camera on the back with 1080p recording and Android’s latest Jelly Bean OS.

And of course it wouldn’t be a Galaxy Note without a new S Pen, which is where Samsung thinks they have found an experience closer to pen and paper, with the new S Pen and Note II, users can add Quick Commands to their stylus gestures, and use a feature called Air View to view galleries and folders just by floating the stylus on the screen.

There’s also some functionality added for the calendar and native email app, and the coolest part is the S Pen will notify your phone if you either leave it behind.

The Note II will launch in Titaanium Grey and Marble White, releasing internationally before the end of year, there’s no exact dates or pricing structures just yet, but we will let you know when we do.
