As has been expected since they originally launched the Galaxy S7, Samsung has this week launched an Active variant of the S7.
Aptly named the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, it is similar to the S6 Active, however, it includes the same level of specifications as the original Galaxy S7.
Of course, its main feature is that it is tough, very tough.
Featuring a shatter resistant glass on the front, the phone should be able to withstand a few drops on its face, or pretty much anywhere thanks to its protective rubberised shell, which will help to absorb knocks and drops.
And like the standard S7 it is water resistant.
In terms of specifications, it features a 5.1 QHD Super AMOLED display alongside a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.
It also has a fingerprint reader, 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 12-megapixel front-facing camera.
We know that it will be available from AT&T exclusively in the US from June 10th, but no other availability details have been announced yet.
