According to sources who spoke to Sam Mobile, Samsung is about to announce their next flagship smartwatch.

According to reports, it is being developed under the codename Solis, but at release, it will be called the Samsung Gear S3.

Reports also claim that it will be released with the Tizen operating system instead of Android like other smartwatches on the market, featuring an updated interface that will probably take advantage of the bezel control system, which we expect to be featured on the Gear S3, like the Gear S2.

The Samsung Gear S3 has leaked in the lead up to its unveil as its codename, Solis, has been outed along with model numbers and OS details.

Those sources also revealed the model numbers, which are said to be  SM-R760, SM-R765, SM-R770, SM-R765V, and SM-R765S. They also say that the display will get a slight size upgrade from 1.2-inches, along with an improvement to battery life.

However, we don’t yet know anything official about the smartwatch yet.

We should hear more during Samsung’s reported Unpacked event on August 2nd, or at IFA in September. You can read more about this leak at the source link.
