This week Samsung unveiled a product that you may soon see in some powerful smartphones.

This is their latest chipset, and in fact, the industry’s first 10mm chipset that has been designed for the smartphone. It is an 8GB LPDDR4 DRAM package.

That said, it’s unlikely that you will actually see this chipset in a smartphone any time soon.

The 6GB RAM solution that Samsung released over a year ago has still only been included in one smartphone, so it’s likely that we will see the same with this new 8GB chip.

That said, we may see this chipset in Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones.

It has been based on the 10-nanometer-class processor technology and uses four 16 gigabit LPDDR4 memory chips, providing up to 4,266Mb/s speeds.
