It seems that some might think there is still room for the MP3 player, as SanDisk has today unveiled their latest MP3 player to hit the market, dubbed the SanDisk Clip Sport, they are hoping that users might not want to use their smartphones whilst taking part in a sporting activity or working out.

The Clip Sport will be available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, which are priced between $39.99 and $69.99 in the US.

On the back of the MP3 player there’s a clip that will allow users to attach the player to their clothes, and on the front there’s a 1.44 inch colour screen with a 128 x 128 pixel resolution.

The player will also support multiple file formats that includes MP3 and AAC audio file formats, and Audible (DRM only), FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, WAV, WMA (no DRM) files, as well as featuring a FM tuner.

The SanDisk Clip Sport will be available in black, pink, green, red, yellow and blue.

SanDisk say that the internal battery should last up to 25 hours.
