At CES 2016 this week, Seagate announced a new portable hard drive that not only makes it easy to expand your device’s storage, but with a slim design, so slim that Seagate claims that the drive is the thinnest in the world.

Dubbed the Seagate Backup Plus Ultra Slim, it is available with either 1TB or 2TB capacities, with the ability to added on 200GB of Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage, alongside Lyve software compatibility.

In terms of size, the drive measures just 9.6mm thin, with Seagate’s latest 2.5-inch HDD technology, with claims that the drive is 50% slimmer than competing 2TB drives on the market today.

Not only that, the HDD can store more than 500,000 songs, 320,000 photos or 240 hours of high definition videos.

It also features a stylish gold and platinum metal finishes.

As of yet Seagate has not announced pricing for the drive however, we do know that it will be available from both Amazon and Seagate’s website.
