If you have problems with your selfies being too dark then you might want to try out the new accessory that was announced by Lenovo at CES 2015 today, called the Lenovo Vbe Xtension Selfie Flash.

What it does is plug into the 3.5mm headphone socket of the company’s newly announced Vibe X2 Pro smartphone, once it has been plugged in it will offer up a ring flash for selfies.

The light itself has been designed for better front-facing lighting and perfect shutter sync. It is also very portable, weighing only 10 grams, the light can be slipped into the pocket and pulled out at the perfect selfie moments.

Inside you will find eight defused LEDs that provide the illumination.

In order to work however the flash does need to be charged, but Lenovo says that you can take around 100 selfies from the lights 80 mAh battery when fully charged. It will also only work with the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro.

As of yet there’s no pricing or availability announced.
