Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have today teamed up once more to announce that they will be bringing a sequel to the Tomb Raider game, confirmed by the Square Enix CEO of the Americas and Europe, Phil Rogers, who said:

“I am also excited to reveal that we are well into development on a next-generation Tomb Raider sequel – something you may have heard about recently!”

This is despite to company missing their projected target of 6 million copies sold, although the 3.4 million they did sell is quite an achievement.

They even managed to sell a total of 1 million copies in the first 48 hours of the game’s launch.
