One of the biggest problems with smartwatches is remembering to charge them. Having yet another device to remember to charge is annoying and so it’s something that you quite often forget to do.

But there is one smartwatch that was launched this month that aims to save you from these problems.

It’s called the Sequent smartwatch and cuts out having to remember to charge it by simply charging itself via kinetic energy.

While that isn’t anything new in terms of watches in general, it does claim to be the world’s first iOS and Android smartwatch that is equipped with this kinetic charging system, and to take advantage of all of that moving that you’ll be doing to charge it, Sequent also tracks your fitness activity along with your heart rate via a built in tracker.

It also features built-in GPS tech for tracking the roads you took and the distance that you travelled on them.

Of course, it’s a smartwatch so there’s more than that.

The watch can also show notifications from your smartphone, get notified about alarms, and it automatically changes the time based on the time zone that you are in.

And it was designed by a team in Switzerland, which may be a good added extra for you.
