Today Sharp announced the release of a new smartphone that you might just choose for your 2017 smartphone.

It’s called the Sharp Aquos R and features a decently sized 5.3-inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440-pixels.

It is also powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

To top that off, it has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, a 23-megapixel rear facing camera, Android Nougat pre-installed, a 3,160 mAh battery, and Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology to get that charger juiced up faster.

Sharp has also built in a new assistant that they have named “Emopa” and will launch alongside a rotating charging dock (pictured above) that sharp says will follow the direction of the user’s voice and follow their face when they are making a call.

Sharp hasn’t revealed the pricing or availability details for this new Aquos R smartphone, however, as soon as we hear more about the device we will let you know.
