We don’t normally write about USB drives because they are generally quite boring, well aside from the one that we are writing about today.

This is the latest drive from Silicon Power, which takes things up a notch with a design that means that it can be considered as the Swiss Army Knife of USB devices thanks to its clever connector design.

At first glance you may only see a Type-A connector sitting at the end of the USB drive, however, if you lift this up you will find a second Micro-B connector that can be used with older phones and tablets. And there’s yet another on the other side, a USB Type-C connector, which is stored under an elastic black cap that includes a hole for attaching the drive to a key ring or a lanyard.

You can use this drive for a range of purposes and Silicon Power has included a couple of tools to do so, SP Widget and SP FIle Explorer, both of which allow you to share data between two devices such as a laptop and a smartphone.

The drive has also been signed to withstand water, dust, and vibrations while operating between zero and -70 degrees Celsius, and features an ergonomic grip with a five-year warranty.
