Today EA and Maxis announced that The Sims 4 will be coming to the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 finally after only launching for the PC and Mac back in 2014.

It will break free from those PC Master Race shackles on November 17th, allowing console scrubs to create their own Sims, design and build their own houses, and explore the world of The Sims in the same way as the PC version, just with a controller.

EA has said that this will also come alongside a number of game updates and extra content releases that will be released periodically, so it looks like support should be good.

You can pre-order your own console version of The Sims 4 today and if you do that then you will get The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff pack, which adds hot tubs and even more decor to the game.

You can also pre-order The Sims 4 Deluxe Party Edition if you like parties.

And if you do that you get access to the game a few days earlier on November 14th, however, those who have EA Access will get it even earlier as it will launch on that as a Play First Trial on November 9th.
