Today Sky announced a partnership with the audio company Devialet to build and introduce their own all-in-one audio solution for televisions.

It is called the Sound Soundbox and has been designed to be the one stop solution to getting sound out of your TV in an engaging way.

It features three 2-inch full range drivers that have been placed in a 120-degree configuration that allows it to create a soundscape as wide as possible and to push out the bass, Sky also built in six 3-inch woofers in a dual push-push config that will definitely work great for those Micheal Bay movies.

It also features Bluetooth connectivity in built, allowing it to connect to any Bluetooth-compatible device as well as Sky’s own set-top box, Sky Q.

If you prefer wires, it also features HDMI in and out ports, and an optical audio input.

And we still aren’t done. It also features Dolby Digital+ sound technology alongside with dynamic volume management for enhancing the listening experience for the content that you are watching or the situation that you are watching it on.

You can pre-register for the Sky Soundbox today, however, it does cost quite a lot.

It is £799 for non-Sky customers, however, if you are an existing or new Sky Q Multiscreen customer you can get a pretty good deal on it, bringing it down to £249.

If you subscriber to any other Sky service you will get it for £299.
