Today Sky announced that they will be giving out Christmas presents to all of its customers this year.

In their announcement, they revealed that everyone who currently has a Sky Q or Sky+ box subscription but not a box set subscription will automatically get three month’s free access to Sky’s on-demand service for free.

It will be switched on to all users who have connected their box to broadband on Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2016.

All of the free box sets will be available in an SD format to customers until March 23rd, 2017, after that any downloaded content will automatically remove itself from your box. It will provide access to Sky’s full catalogue of shows, from their own content like Mad Dogs and Fortitude up to hit series like The Flash, Supergirl and Mad Men.

Those who already have a subscription to Sky’s box set package will get a voucher for a free Sky Store Buy & Keep movie instead.

This voucher will have to be redeemed in the Sky Store by December 31st, 2016 and can be used for any of the films that are available in the Buy & Keep range, providing a digital copy of the movie and a physical copy via a DVD that will be sent in the post.

Box set subscribers should get a voucher code emailed or sent to them by post in the next week.
