Sky Go has today been launched on the Amazon Fire tablet, after being available on a number of devices for some time now, including both iOS and Android.

The app basically allows Sky subscribers to watch live TV, as well as on demand programs on your tablet.

To gain access you just need to subscribe to Sky and download the app from the Amazon App Store.

Steve Rabuchin, Vice President, Amazon App Store, said the following about the launch:

“We’re focused on adding the highest quality selection to our Appstore, and Sky has one of the strongest content catalogues in the UK. The addition of Sky Go to our store provides our customers with easy access to Sky’s first-class exclusive TV, movies and sports programming.
