Sky has today launched their Sky Movies App for Android, previously only available to those with an iOS device, the app will allow Sky subscribers to watch new trailers for films, as well as read up on their synopses and cast lists for movies which are currently available to watch on both the Sky Movies channel and the Sky Store.

From the app, users can also send selections to their Sky+ HD box and set them to record from anywhere in the world, as long as they have an internet connection.

the app is available for a free download from the Google Play Store, but will only support certain devices, full list of which can be seen below.
