Today Sky announced another expansion to their Sky Q service, bringing a new split screen viewing feature to the Sky Q service.

With this new feature, you will be able to watch two sporting events side by side on any compatible Sky Q device.

To do so you simply need to press the red button and then open the Sky Sports app on your Sky Q device.

From there you can customise the streams that you are watching, with options to show Match Choice or Race Choice, as well as a selection of Highlights and other video clips alongside the main event. You can use this to watch two football matches live for example, or even one football match alongside another sport like Formula 1.

Luke Bradley-Jones, Brand Director of TV and Content Products at Sky, said the following about it:

“We know our customers absolutely love watching live sports and the new Sky Q features will give them the flexibility to choose how they watch. Whether it’s a Premier League match or Formula 1® race, customers can simply choose split screen viewing and watch the most talked about goal again and again, or two live races side by side.”
