Sky has today updated their Sky+ EPG, allowing Sky customers to view a new programme guide that features a new design aiming to make the service easier to use.

The new homepage will feature a new tiled designed, allowing users to access various elements of the service, including Catch Up TV, the Sky+ Planner, the Sky Store and an area that shows Sky’s TV Box Sets on demand, along with a New Series section that allows the user to search all of the latest series premiering on the various available channels.

The new update will also offer instant access to Sky Movies On Demand and a Best of On Demand Section, which shows a curated list of the best shows and movies that are available to watch instantly.

Sky are also refreshing its Sky+ app with the same changes, as well as a button to turn the Sky+ HD box on and off from their mobile or tablet.

Sky says that the update will only be available to some users from today, however everyone will get it by the end of May.
