Recently a few Skype users have taken to the forums mentioning a bug that causes Skype to repeatedly and unintentional forward instant messages to random people on their contact list, which means that other contacts are seeing the conversations they weren’t supposed to, I’m sure you can imagine how much of a breach of privacy this actually is, the issue isn’t unknown however and Skype has released a statement saying they are working on a fix:

“We are aware that in rare circumstances IM’s between two contacts could be sent to an unintended third contact. We are rolling out a fix for this issue in the next few days and will notify our users to download an updated version of Skype.”
