As more smart home devices are announced things start to get a little more complicated, we end up with various apps and devices that control different things and all do different things.
In an attempt to merge some of this into one interface, Smanos, the wireless security and smart home component company unveiled a unified smart home controller during CES 2017.
Called the All-in-One Touchscreen Home Controller, it features a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display that allows you to view footage from your security cameras, as well as monitor other connected security, smart home sensor, and monitoring devices.
It can connect with these devices over WiFi and Z-Wave connections, such as thermostats, lights, locks, doorbells, cameras, security sensors, and other devices like the Amazon Echo, Nest, and various Z-Wave door locks.
You can also fit the Smanos Controller with a 3G or 4G SIM card, as well as a memory card to store data.
You can also use the Smanos iOS and Android compatible mobile devices, allowing you to monitor and control your home from any location around the world.
The Smanos AIO Touchscreen Home Controller is set to be released in the third quarter of 2017, however, pricing for the unit has not yet been announced.
