Today Snapchat (or now Snap Inc. after their most recent name change) unveiled their first hardware product to reach the market. Called the Spectacles, they are a set of connected sunglasses that have been designed to record 10-second snippets of video.

They feature a single button on the side of the device, which will begin to record this video via a 115-degree lens, Snap says that this lens will closely approximate a person’s field of vision.

The camera on glasses will also be capable of recording circular video, which they say will result in recordings that look closer to what you see normally, through your own eyes.

These videos will be playable in full screen on any device, in any orientation, and can be shared to the Snapchat application via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and then shared through your memories.

Check them out via the video below.
