Specifications for a couple new cameras from Sony have today leaked, reportedly dubbed the Sony Alpha A7 and the A7r, which has been reported as the latest digital cameras from the company, set to launch later this year.

Reportedly equipped with a 24 megapixel sensor, the Sony Alpha A7 will reportedly be priced at around $1698 for just the body and $1998 for the body and the camera lens kit, which will reportedly be a 28-70 mm lens.

The Sony Alpha A7r will however come with a 36 megapixel sensor and will come with a 35mm f/2.8 Zeiss lens, and will reportedly be priced at $2198 for the body only.

Both cameras will also feature a 2.4 million dot resolution OLED electronic viewfinder technology and will be powered by NEX batteries and will include SD card storage.

They will also support photo transfers over Wi-Fi and NFC and will come with a LAEA Full Frame A to E-mount adapter, with an optional vertical grip .
