Fancy making some 4K recordings of your own? Well you might want to look at Sony’s new AX100 camcorder then. Revealed at CES 2014, the camera is the first compact 4K handcam made by the company that can record at a 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution, and features a 14.2 megapixel Exmor R CMOS sensor with a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens.

There’s also NFC and Wi-Fi inside, and a 29mm wide-angle lens allowing for zooms up to 12x.

The Sony AX100 will be available in March for $1,999, however their will be a $1,499 option without the 4K resolution.
