4K TVs are getting a bit of a reputation for costing a bit too much than the normal personal carries around in their wallet, priced as high as $25,000, you might have to sell you car just to pick one up.

But wait, don’t head of to the dealership just yet! Sony have just announced the pricing for their 55 and 65 inch models that might come at a surprise.

Announced during Sony’s NAB press conference in Las Vagas, the Bravia XBR-55X900A (55-inch)  will be priced at $4,999 and the XBR-65X900A (65-inch) will be $6,999, a damn sight cheaper than pricing we have already heard for other models.

But that’s not to say there lacking, still featuring Triluminous displays with X-Reality PRO and Motionflow XR960 technology, both sets include WiFi and NFC one-touch screen mirroring, as well as a max resolution of 3840 x 2160.

Both of the sets will be available in the US from April 21, 2013.
