Sony has today announced their new RX lineup of cameras, included in which is the new RX10 bridge camera which features a 20.2 megapixel sensor with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T 24-200mm lens that has a constant aperture of f/2.8 and is optically stabilized, allowing the camera to perform well in low-light conditions and even focus on objects just 3cm away.

Alongside which there’s also a new high-speed ultrasonic focusing system and the camera can capture at 10fps with continuous autofocus.

Also featured is a new Eye AF system, Full HD 1080p video capture at 60fps and the ability to output 4K images over HDMI.

There’s also a vari-angle LCD screen on the back, as well as Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity, an accessory shoe mount, headphone jack and an external microphone jack.

The Sony RX10 will be available soon from $1300 in the US.
