Sony has this week announced a brand new smartphone to be added to their Xperia range, dubbed the Sony Xperia T3, which is the world’s slimmest 5.3 inch smartphone according to the company.

In terms of specs the Sony Xperia T3 features a 5.3 inch HD display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, with a quad-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor and 1GB of RAM.

There’s also 8GB of in-built storage, a microSD card slot the supports and up to an extra 32GB of storage, with a 1.1 megapixel front-facing camera that can shoot 672p video, with an 8 megapixel camera on the back with a Sony Exmor RS sensor.

The rear-facing camera also comes with HDR, image stabilisation, an 8x digital zoom, sweep panorama, touch focus, object tracking and more.

The Sony Xperia T3 will be available from the end of July in white, black and purple, however as of yet there’s no information on pricing.
