At their Gamescon 2013 conference, Sony has finally announced the launch date for their next-gen console, revealing that the PS4 will be available in the UK and Europe from November 29th and in the US on November 15th.

Both linking to the original promise of a holiday 2013 release date, and trumping Microsoft to the release date reveal.

We already know that the PS4 will be priced at £349 in the UK, 399 euros in Europe and $399 in the US.

Alongside that Andrew House, the president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment announced that they will also be offering discounts on certain titles that will be released before the PS4’s launch date.

These games will include Assassins Creed Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Watch Dogs, amongst others.

Upon buying one of the eligible PS3 titles, you will be granted a download for the PS4 version at a discounted price automatically.
