Sony Entertainment Network has today announced a new wallet funding option for those who reside within the UK, allowing Brits to pay for items or simply top-up their wallet accounts within the PlayStation Store or on any other site within the Sony Entertainment Network, just by using their phone.

This is happening due to a new partnership between both Sony and a mobile payments company called Boku, and will work with all major UK mobile network operators.

When on the payment screen, to use this service a user simply chooses “mobile” as their payment option, type in their mobile phone number and confirm the wallet top-up via SMS.

The service is available on all Sony’s store now.
