Sony earlier today launched a web-based version of the PlayStation Store, allowing you to shop for PlayStation content whilst you’re browsing the way.

The online version of the store will allow you to do a lot of the same things as the console versions, allowing users to buy games, movies and TV shows which will be available to buy from the browser and will then be automatically queued on the PS3, PS Vita or PSP depending on which you have linked to the same account you used to buy the content.

Prices are however just as expensive as the usual PlayStation Store with new games priced as high as £59.99.
