For some time now there has been various leaks around the web about Sony’s new Cyber-Shot RX100, but finally these rumors can be confirmed as true because Sony have today officially announced the camera for launch.
Packing a 20.2 megapixel camera with a back illuminated Exmore R 1.0 CMOS sensor and a f1.8 Carl Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens, it seems to be a pretty decent compact camera.
Alongsie that it can also shoot video in Full HD resolution, and includes a 7..5cm LCD tiltable display, Wi-FI and NFC connectivity.
The Cyber-Shot RX100 will be available in Europe from the middle of July, retailing for around $750.
