Sony Japan announced two new Android running Walkman MP3 players dubbed the Sony Walkman NW-ZX1 and NW-F880, the NW-ZX1 being the more premium device and the NW-F880 is the more colourful device with three colour options.

Both devices run on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and are fitted with a 480 x 854 Triluminos screens and feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC connectivity.

The NW-F880 also features 24 bit/192 kHz lossless audio when playing FLAC or WAV files as well as buttons to access playback controls, and will be offered in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options.

The NW-ZX1 will also offer up FM radio and digital noise cancellation, as well as 128GB of built-in storage, there’s also a headphone amplifier fitted to the back.

The NW-F880 will be available in multiple colours priced at $274 for the 16GB model, $304 for the 32GB and $405 for the 64GB.

The NW-ZX1 will only come in silver however and will cost $760.
