The UK based retailer Clove today revealed that the new Sony SmartWatch 3 will launch in the UK this Friday from October 31st, priced at £100 in the UK including taxes for the black and lime versions of the device according to the site.

There will also be a stainless steel version available for £215 including taxes, but that model won’t launch until November.

In terms of specs the Sony SmartWatch 3 will feature a 1.2GHz processor, with 512MB of Ram and 4GB of in-built storage.

On top of this the device also has NFC support, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity and a microUSB port to charge and sync the device. In terms of battery the SmartWatch 3 also has a 420mAh battery that is said to last up to 2 days.

The smart watch is also waterproof up to the IP68 rating, with a number of sensors the includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensors, a gyro, GPS and a compass.

The Sony SmartWatch 3 will also be compatible with Android smartphones and tablets that run on Android 4.3 or above.
