Due to manufacturing defects, Sony has suspended sales of the Xperia Tablet S after being on sale for just a month, what manufacturing defect you ask?

Well after putting on a show at CES 2012, Sony has found the tablet to not be as water-resistant as they originally thought  with gaps between the screen and the case.

Customers who have already purchased the tablet will be able to have their tablet inspected and replaced free of charge if an issue is found, the problem according to Sony, is a manufacturing fault at their plant in China which they expect to have fixed by the end of October.

There’s no exact amount of how many tablets are effected, but it’s expect that around 100,000 of the tablets have been sold already.
