This week at Mobile World Congress 2015 Sony unveiled their new mid-range smartphone called the Xperia M4, which has a similar design to the Xperia Z3 but at a budget price tag.

It is also pretty light at 136 grams, whilst featuring a 5-inch display that offers a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution with a pixel density of 294ppi.

Inside you will also find an oct-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, integrated 4G LTE, 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via the microSD port and a 2,400mAh battery.

Around the back there’s also a 13 megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture and ISO 3200 sensitivity and is paired with a 5 megapixel camera on the back that has an 88-degree field of view.

In terms of software the M4 Aqua will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, and will include a number of Sony’s usual smartphone features like Remote Play, PlayStation Music and others.

The M4 Aqua will launch with a price tag of around €299 when it launches sometime in Spring 2015.

As of yet not exact release date has been announced, and UK pricing is still yet to be revealed.
