As was expected, Sony has gone big with OLED today, unveiling the XBR-A1E Bravia which is a stunning OLED TV that they say can provide an “unmatched visual and aural experience” with “unprecedented black levels, rich and lifelike color, dynamic contrast, blur-less image, and a wide viewing angle.”

It will also come with support for Dolby Vision HDR built in, along with a new chip that has been named the 4K HDR Processor X1 Extreme, all in an extremely thing design.

It will be available in 55-, 65-, and 77-inch sizes, and that’s about all that we know.

Sony has yet to reveal details on pricing and availability.

They did reveal some updates to their current LCD TVs though, adding LED lighting to the X930E and X940E, along with OLED panels and support for Dolby Vision HDR.

But there’s no pricing or availability for these either.
