During a press event in London earlier today, Sony unveiled its plans to redesign the PlayStation store from the ground up, bringing a brand new look alongside increased functionality.
The biggest thing to notice is the new design, which features a much nicer UI, with a focus on games movies and TV content right on the front page, all of which will automatically scale to your TV, so it doesn’t matter if you have an SD or HD connection, you will still see the same design.
There’s also a new and improved search function, which can now recognise abbreviations as well as misspellings, showing you a dynamic list of suggestions which show up as you type.
They have also separated to Vita and PSP content, with new filters and content hubs that show everything linked to that title.
The new design will launch in Europe and other PAL regions on October 17th, and in North America on October 23rd, check out the source link below for more information.
