During their E3 press conference earlier today, Sony announced something quite interesting, the PS4 will be priced at just £350 in the UK, which is essentially undercutting the Xbox One price by £80.

They also shown off the design of the console, which looks to be extremely slim, with the same black and blue colour scheme we are used to, the console can sit both vertically and horizontal just like previous consoles.

The console will be sized at 75 x 53 x 305mm and will include a HDMI and optical out port, 2 USB 3.0 ports and a AUX port for the camera. The controller weighs 210 grams and includes a 1000mAh battery, the camera itself ca capture a maximum resolution of 1280 x 800 (x2) at 60fps, as well as 640 x 400 at 120fps, and 320 x 192 at 240fps.

That £350 will even buy the version of the console with a 500GB hard drive, making the PS4 a better buy than the Xbox One in some respects.

However that price will not include the camera module, which will be priced at £44 ($59) as an optional extra, the console will however be packed with a controller and mono earpiece plus HDMI, USB and power cords.
