During their event at MWC 2016 earlier today, Sony unveiled a set of brand new accessories to be released over the course of 2016.
These include the Xperia Ear, Xperia Eye and the Xperia Projector.
The Xperia Projector is basically a projector that can be used to project an interactive user interface onto any flat surface from a compact tower shaped device, users can then interact with this projection in many different ways to control devices.
Alongside this can the Xperia Eye, which is a 360-degree camera that is fitted with a spherical lens to create a natural field of view. Designed to be worn to video log your life, it’s aimed to be something that you constantly record moments with.
Finally, there is the Xperia Ear, which is an earpiece that can be connected to Sony devices and used as a hands-free device, it also doubles as a personal assistant to provide you with updates, and carry out voice commands. It uses NFC and Bluetooth, with an IPX2 design that is said to have an all-day battery life.
Sony hasn’t revealed any more details than that, and we don’t have any pricing or release dates for any of the devices, however we will let you know when we do.
In the meantime, you can check them out below.
