To beef up its budget smartphone line-up, Sony has announced a few new smartphones ahead of Mobile World Congress next month. Kicking of with the new Sony Xperia E1, Sony has kitted their new smartphone with a 100dB speaker, 30 days free access to the Sony Entertainment Network and it even uses the old-fashioned Walkman controls and app.

The smartphone also features a 4 inch WVGA display with a 800 x 480 (233ppi) pixel resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, a 1700mAh battery and a dual-SIM card slot.

And as for everything else, Sony hasn’t divulged.

They did however reveal that it will be available in white, black and purple.
