Xperia Blog has today posted a leak for what they say is the Android 4.4 KitKat UI for the rumoured Sony Xperia Z2, or as leaks suggest the Sony Series (as its reportedly codenamed).

Following a list of specifications that leaked earlier today, the UI was leaked along with the model number D6503 and a number of screenshots for the new UI, that seem to include just a few new enhancements to the old UI, with some new wallpapers and themes.

The new UI also reveals availability for 4K video recording as well as TimeShift video that allows users to record videos at a high frame rate.

There’s also display options for a glove mode, smart backlit control and white balance as well as features for gesture control, a built-in answer machine in the dialer, two home launchers, personalizations for the status and notifications bar, the ability to change the default SMS app and improved power management.
