iFixit have today published their own teardown report for Sony’s PlayStation 4, awarding it a very impressive 8 out of ten, which means that the console could be easily repaired by almost anybody, thanks to the removal of any glue that is normally used to attach parts to mobiles and products.

Alongside this, its hard drive is also easy to replace and access, and doing so won’t void your warranty.

However iFixit say that some security screws and tamper evident seals have been put in place to make some parts in the system a little harder, the fan in particular they say is an extreme challenge to access.

But overall they say it would be an easy enough system to repair, you can check out the full report below.
